Esa firma es un certificado que se le paga a una autoridad todos los meses, y avisa aunque el programa sea legítimo: Windows no dice "esto es peligroso", dice "no sé quién lo hizo". Un programa nuevo sin firma da ese aviso siempre, y uno firmado por un delincuente no lo da.
Because the installer does not carry a DIGITAL SIGNATURE. That signature is a certificate you pay an authority for every month, and the warning shows up even when the program is legitimate: Windows is not saying "this is dangerous", it is saying "I do not know who made it". A new unsigned program always shows it, and one signed by a criminal does not.
Lo que sí puedes comprobar, y es mejor que confiar en un aviso: la HUELLA del archivo. Si el número que te sale es este, el archivo que bajaste es exactamente el que yo publiqué, sin un byte cambiado.
What you can actually verify, and it beats trusting a warning: the file FINGERPRINT. If the number you get is this one, the file you downloaded is exactly the one I published, without a single byte changed.
